The Wilderness and Remote First Aid Emergency Reference Guide and Pocket Guide is the official guide for the Red Cross Wilderness and Remote First Aid course. This guide is the most current version, revised in September, 2014. The course is based on the 2010 Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines, and helps course participants learn how to respond to more than 25 first aid emergencies – during times when help may be delayed. It's a great resource for scouts, outdoor enthusiasts, or anyone who works in a remote environment. The Guide and Pocket Guide are not only used during the course, but can serve as important emergency references after training is complete.
