• First Aid Training in Pennsylvania

At the American Red Cross, we offer Pennsylvania first aid certification training classes so that you can learn how to help your friends, family and neighbors during medical emergencies. With courses available online, in person and via our blended Simulation Learning experience, finding a class that suits your schedule and your learning style is simple.

In order to become fully certified in first aid by the American Red Cross, you must successfully complete an in-person class or Simulation Learning course taught by Red Cross instructors. In Pennsylvania, first aid training opportunities are available in dozens of convenient locations throughout the state – making it easy to find a class that's near your home, school or office. Courses are also available in an online-only format, however they may not meet your employer's requirements for workplace safety.

Once you complete your Pennsylvania first aid certification classes, your credentials will be valid for two years. In order to maintain your certification beyond the two-year period, we offer abbreviated first aid renewal classes that allow you to stay up to date on the latest techniques. These classes should be taken within 30 days of your certification's expiration date, and will extend the life of your credentials by two additional years.

Even after taking one of our first aid classes in Pennsylvania, it's easy to lose your skills if they're not practiced regularly. In order to help keep the information you've learned fresh in your mind, we've created a simple step-by-step guide that you can print up and place on your refrigerator, in your car, in your bag or at your desk and review at any time.

At the American Red Cross we offer first aid training in Pennsylvania that can help you confidently provide care when your friends, family or neighbors need it most. In addition, we offer training classes and respond to emergencies in all 50 states and more than 180 countries worldwide. In order to ensure that everyone we train learns to deliver the most effective care, all of our training materials are developed under the guidance of, and reviewed by, the Red Cross Scientific Advisory Council.
