The Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) training program was developed with the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). Including unmatched science, personalized instruction and a new case delivery approach with in-hospital and out-of-hospital tracks, our NALS courses provide the critical knowledge and skills to manage newborn resuscitations. American Red Cross ALS, PALS and NALS certifications are valid for two years. NALS Training Format: Blended Learning.
Advanced Life Support (ALS) training, also known as ACLS training from the American Red Cross builds on your BLS skills to help you deliver a greater level of care. Featuring science-based curriculum and personalized instruction, ALS classes use a scenario-based approach and focus on medically complex cases requiring advanced interventions. American Red Cross ALS, PALS, and NALS certifications are valid for two years. ALS Class Formats: In-person and Blended Learning.
Participants in the American Red Cross Advanced Life Support course must be proficient in adult basic life support skills.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training can help you provide life-saving care to infants and children during times of crisis. American Red Cross ALS, PALS, and NALS certifications are valid for two years. PALS Training Formats: In-person and Blended Learning.
Participants in the American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course must be proficient in child and infant basic life support (BLS) skills.
If you're currently a certified BLS, ALS, PALS, or NALS instructor with another training agency, you can expand your teaching options by taking our free, online Instructor Bridge program. In order to qualify, you must hold a current provider-level (base-levell) certification and at least one of the equivalent certifications, from an approved training organization. Once you've been accepted into the Instructor Bridge program, you'll gain access to all of the necessary online courses (and materials) and can become certified to teach BLS, ALS and/or PALS courses.
