Superior Seal Consistency Traditional Mask: Features a pre-molded, semi-rigid dome with a thin, air-filled cuff. It requires the "E-C" hand technique to maintain a seal, which can be difficult to hold during movement. RapidSeal: Uses a large, soft, air-inflated bladder (resembling a soft donut) that conforms instantly to different facial shapes. This makes it much easier to achieve an airtight seal on patients with facial hair, recessed chins, or smaller faces without having to apply excessive pressure.

In-Water Rescue Breathing The Advantage: The RapidSeal is specifically designed for lifeguarding. Because of its soft, "squishy" bladder, it maintains a seal even when the rescuer and victim are bobbing in water. Traditional Mask: Traditional masks often leak or slip when wet, making it nearly impossible to provide effective rescue breaths while treading water or during a "mink" (in-water) tow.

Durability and Bladder Design Material: The RapidSeal is made of a thicker, more durable material than standard thin-cuff pocket masks.
